OCTOBER 8TH

Ok, this is for those of you who are coming. We are going to make wreaths. You will need to bring a wreath ring for yourself. Aunt Sandi and I are going to get some pinecones from the cemetary. Also I thought if everybody wanted to bring something to put on the wreath and we could all just pick and chose things. I will be getting some stuff, but I don't really know what. I have never made a wreath. I am open to any suggestions. I am going to smoke something to eat for all of us. I thought everybody could bring something else, covered dish or dessert. Let me know what you are bringing because my mom and aunt sandi need to know before hand. Also Suzette, Aunt Sandi said you would be bringing something for the kids to do, let me know. And as far as the time goes for this thing, I wasn't really going to set one, I just figured we could set aside the whole day because my mom can't come until she is off work and Bridget has activities that day, so whenever your ready to come just come on!

Don't be getting any haunted pine cones. I've got enough bad karma floating around here. Get mine from some lottery winners yard.

are these going to be thanksgiving wreaths or christmas wreaths or what, are you talking like a styrofoam wreath?

Lets make mashed potato wreaths, everyone like mashed potatos, right?

Okay, we can do regular wreaths. But if they are styrofoam we'll need a whole hell of a lot of stuff to cover them. Or ribbon or something. I have some regular evergreen (fake) wreaths here. Not sure how many, but I'll look. Maybe four or five I think. I'll pick up some stuff at the craft store to stick on them.

I have t-shirts and iron on crayons. So they can make T-shirts. I got stuff when Robin came up a while back but we never did them. So odd for this family, really, not finishing a project. Don't you think?

I have a glue gun. It's sounding a little suspicious though. Wire hangers and duct tape? this isn't some kind of ruse to get me to Washington and do me in so you can get my money and my kids is it? rofl. Yeah right. my money and my kids, I crack me up some times.

Ok, first of all I think Uncle Gary might feel left out. So I say we make one for him and send it to him. I have some bubble gum wrappers to put on it. I like the idea of doing the wire wreaths. I am going to buy some decorations also. I was thinking christmas wintery wreaths, Sue is that ok with you?

I am getting one of the branch like wreaths to make, I will get some things to put on them too today. I don't want to do a Christmas wreath because we have one already and don't really have anywhere to put another one.

Perhaps we can send Gary a "do it yourself wreath kit" with a hanger, some glue, pinecones and assorted other paraphenalia (did I spell that right) to make his own. We'll take pictures and post them and compare after he gets his done.

Or maybe Emily and I can make our own wreaths or something. We can get allof our different supplies, even though I have no idea how to make them.

And what makes you think we have a clue Gary? I'm actually only taking the camera so I can get footage for America's funniest home videos.

I got my wreath already. Some little old lady had it hanging outside her door. I couldn't believe she wasn't selling it, but free I tell ya... no price on it. It looks pretty good and not "Craft" fuss.

Oh yea... K-mart usually has them pretty cheap too.

and whoever heard of a "haunted pine cone"?

Well, who ever heard of a haunted supply closet till the guard guys got to New Orleans. Apparently anything can be haunted. And with my luck, it would be my pine cone.
